In 2012 the BJRU are offering the opportunity for you to sponsor any of the BJRU representative teams from U12 - U17 for as little as $150.00 plus GST.As this is the first time we have offered this opportunity we would like to offer this to

SOUTHS JUNIORS SUPPORT NAURU RUGBY DEVELOPMENT

Souths Junior Rugby Union presented the delegates of the Nauru Government with 60 jerseys and back packs to support the development of sport and Rugby Union in Nauru.  Club President, Chris Hourigan along with Vice President, Mat Cairncross are delighted to know that Souths Junior’s is able to support Nauru in the development of Rugby Union by this gesture and that children of Nauru will have the opportunity to play Rugby Union.  

The Minister for Telecommunications, Utilities & NPRT, Honourable Shadlog A. Bernicke MP, Honourable Baron D. Waqa MP & Secretary for Sports, Mr Rayoung Itsimaera and Mr Klenny Harris, Vice Consul were very appreciative and grateful to Souths Junior Rugby Union for this generous donation.  “It is very much appreciated to have the support of South Junior Rugby Union to help our Nation develop Rugby Union and this will make many children very happy,” said the Minister.  Photographs by Deborah Davies
