GIRLS COMPETITION
Girls' rugby union is one of the fastest-growing areas of our game, with participation continuing to increase each season across Brisbane.
More girls than ever are discovering the excitement, friendships and opportunities that rugby union provides, creating a vibrant and supportive community both on and off the field.
Belong. Believe. Become.
The girls competition provides players with the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence and compete in a positive, inclusive and enjoyable environment. Whether you are new to rugby union, or have been playing for years, there's a place for every player to learn, grow and thrive.
With clubs across Brisbane welcoming new players each season, girls are encouraged to register with their local club, and become part of a game that celebrates courage, teamwork, respect and reslience.
BJRU host four (4) Talent ID and Development sessions, commencing in March. These sessions are designed to support players of all levels - from those playing for the first time, players continuing to build confidence, players working on refining skills, through to players with goals to pull on a representative jersey.
Specifically designed for our female players, the GEM series is a XV-a-side competition where all players are welcome.
Your local club doesn't have the numbers to register a team? - Reach out to us today, and we'll find you a place.
